In Le Grand-Bornand, local craftsman Didier keeps alive an ancestral expertise that’s as tough as leather and handed down through generations. He crafts the unique items that can be found in his workshop-boutique set up in one of the oldest chalets of Le Grand-Bornand. He also invites you to sign up for an introduction to leatherwork at his side. Hence, Didier conveys all his passion for the craft of traditional saddlemaking and helps to safeguard this profession that’s as noble as it is ancient!
In Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, Stephen Taillandier devotes his time to the art of making cutlery, sculpting and creating beautiful knives from his own imagination and/or made to order. You’re sure to be tempted by the Danay knife or another of his unique models. Don’t hesitate to come and meet him in his traditional workshop!

At Héry-sur-Alby, Isabelle invites you to admire her collections of characters and animals, sculptures and decorative items, jewellery and pottery utensils. Isabelle follows her desires to create earthenware and raku ware, and invites you to try your hand at the art of making your own items.
In Manigod, Valérie opens the door to her home and studio to share with you her expertise as a potter and ceramicist. She helps you fulfil your projects in workshops and discussions on the various techniques. Let the angels of Les Anges de Manigod take care of you!
Laetitia’s workshop, “Cimes et Racines” can be found between Thônes and Annecy, in the small village of Alex. Laetitia grows and harvests herbs and medicinal plants. You can visit her garden and/or drying room to learn about the riches and many uses of dried plants, ranging from herbal teas to traditional soaps. Laetitia invites you to learn the secrets of the cold saponification method to make your own soaps. A pleasant learning experience that’s 100% nature !
In the Sources du Lac d’Annecy region, discover the soaps of Malabulle! Isabelle is a soap magician who creates natural soaps with as many organic and local ingredients as possible. Come and meet her (by appointment only) at her workshop in Val de Chaise or on the markets where you can see all her creations.
